Yeah a little bit, but Curtis has a little more charm.

3 might be generous....2 might be as well.

Nothing wrong with confidence. He didn't bash the man....just said he was "basic." Some of you need to slow down on the GGG nut juice...your growing t!ts at this point.

He's being over confident. Let's be realistic, most people here wouldn't be surprised to see GGG move up in weight and KO Andre Ward. Would you class that as 'basic' ? :huh

We'll see how 'basic' he is when he cuts off the ring in round 1.

Nah, round 1 is always only ggg's feeling out round. He doesn't really go to work until round 2

Lol...he won't even move DOWN and KO Canelo. Move up and KO Ward. Haha. Move up to where...to LHW? They did not want Ward...not then and certainly not now.

GGG is a very good fighter. The hype is out of control though. He has not PROVEN he is much more than a dominant MW. To even begin to fulfill the hype around him he would need to move up and KO Degale, who is the guy at 168 right now. And that ain't happening. So, he is closer to "basic"...based on your measure.

Wade will likely lose. But, he should not go into the fight thinking he will. Should he? Logic please.

When Mayweather calls GGG basic, you can almost forgive it, when this idiot does the same thing, it's laughable..dude lost to Smiling Sam!

Wade is gonna get hurt bad...

IF he wins he just beat a "basic" guy...might as well say the guy you're fighting is good, why devalue a possible victory...

Whilst if you lose...you lost to a basic guy...you must be really ****...

That is true. But, you can praise him later. For now...no need to build him up. It's not on Wade to sell the fight. He just needs to show up and perform. Everyone already knows GGG is the man at MW.

Doesn't need to sell the fight, but downplaying the guy isn't smart either. Some thing like "well he was a good amateur, but I'm..." wouldn't sell the fight nor down play your opponent. Waiting until after the fight almost seems like you're...not doing you're home work

Maybe he's just a fidgety guy but that body language did not display much confidence.

I'll be watching for that sweet moment in the fight when Wade suddenly realizes that he is face to face with a monster.

He's just not showing weakness in front of the cameras. It's just mind games. Part of the sport. I'm sure he knows what he is up against. He has seen the tapes. He doesn't have to be honorable and complimentary in public. Nor does he have to shake GGGs hand at the face off. It's combat and it starts outside the ring. Wade knows what he's doing. If it works for him, it's fine. He is the one who has to get in that ring.
