He's still in jail, another year left in his sentence. He assaulted his baby mama, then punched her young niece in the face when she attempted to intervene a few months before he fought Golovkin (and was convicted afterwards)
Not too plausible an excuse IMO, as he never really fought any punchers before Golovkin nor had any prolonged wars. Roid-rage, maybe. Can't remember if there was ever any PED suspicion around him? Backne or anything?
Long AM career coulda knocked a few screws loose or just made him a more violet person. Not an excuse at all though
He was a degenerate woman beater even before that; now with the compounding brain-rattling from GGG he ought to spend the rest of his life locked up like an animal for society's safety.
