No faith. We have seen this many, many times in other "talented" fighters. They rack up wins and the moment they face someone with a pulse, they go back into their previous shell. Then they say it wasn't their night.
I too believe that Guinn's problems have been mostly mental. He just doesn't seem to let his hands go enough and he kind of languishes in the ring. He's far out of the picture but he certainly didn't hurt himself with last night's victory. A couple wins is all it really takes and a guy can find himself right back in the thick of things. If anything, Guinn's story would be a good one if he were to notch some more victories and get a spot on an HBO or showtime card. It would be a story of perserverance and not giving up on yourself despite everyone thinking you're finished. I'm not saying it's gonna happen and God knows the road will be long. Fighting an off-tv fight on a Montreal undercard is a far cry from where many thought Guinn would be years ago but it's often in these obscure situations that careers are resurrected.
