Crawford is massively overrated here. He was getting his ass kicked by mediocre ass Egis. I’ve only seen a handful of Madrimov fights and he’s not elite by any means but he can definitely make this competitive.

LOL. Egis landed a good shot in the 2nd round and Crawford stayed in the pocket and fought fire with fire. Made it a good action fight. But by no means was Egis, at any point of the fight, kicking Crawfords ass. To your point, Madrimov will hang tough. Dude is a little beast. Crawford better be ready.

I think Madrimov could pose some problems for Crawford. However Crawford being massively overrated is silly. You should really let go of the Spence loss. Life is too short to be angry all the time.

Mean Machine is one of the very few legit bangers his size Crawford has fought in a 40 fight career and Madrimov is a lot better and hits harder than Mean Machine and one of his bombs>> Mean Machine's. What happens when Madrimov lands with a follow up bomb with the other hand after rocking, stunning, or hurting him with a big right or left or two or three follow up bombs?

    This content is protected

Even Avanesyan rocked Crawford a bit with a right hand over the top and Crawford had to stiff-arm and do that quasi stiff-arming thing he and his protege Shakur do constantly to keep him at bay from landing with his big shots

For those writing off Madrimov's chances and there are many on social media who are and who think hes easy work for Crawford, I'm not saying Madrimov is going to beat Crawford, and the deck and odds are stacked heavily against him given the huge pro experience gap between them, it being in Crawford's country, and the fact that contrary to what many will have you believe, they will be at worst about the same size as each other only Crawford has a much longer reach, but has Crawford ever actually demonstrated he possesses the kind of chin to withstand the power of a legit huge puncher/KO artist like Madrimov? He might not have officially been down but we've seen him hurt and unofficially dropped, which the home ref predictably refused to count as a legit KD, and, as said, he's barely fought any legit bangers or KO artists his size.

You're still mad about Spence. Madrimov is very good. We all know this is a tough test regardless

This is true. I still lean towards Crawford but there’s unanswered questions about his chin, it’s never really been tested other than by Mean Machine.

Not to mention Crawford is past-prime and very inactive, he’s only fought once a year for the past 5 years. Crawford is beatable and isn’t the invincible monster a lot of fans seem to think he is

madridov will make it tough but because hes actually very good and crawford is also like 36 so obiviously he has to be starting to slip a little bit even if not noticed it yet.

You sound like bitter chick mad that the man of your dreams doesn't acknowledge your existence.

The official scorecards were 79-72, 79-72, & 78-73..... Meaning only ONE of the judges had him winning more than one round. You PBC boys get so excited that Crawford got punched.....as if in boxing he's not supposed to get punched......lol......

Crawford's massively overrated?........How so....every man you put in front of him, he outscores them on his way to stopping them. Please inform us all of who exactly is it that Madrimov has been in the ring with that makes you think that this fight won't go exactly as Crawford's previous 40 fights......What you going to say he's too big, too strong?.... We heard the same thing said about Horn, Brook, Porter, & Spence. None of those guys made it to the championship rounds with Crawford.

Yea I agree, Madrimov is a very seasoned 10-0 fighter and has skills and some dog in him as well. This will be a tough fight for Crawford.

Bud will be just fine. This seems more like a timekiller and easy money. Meanwhile, the days of his prime pass by...

Your first sentence was enough for me to understand you know nothing about Crawford's opponents. Kavaliauskas was one of the few legit bangers. What is your definition of a "banger"... What exactly is it that Kavaliauskas does that Porter & Spence don't do to be considered a "banger"?

The Kavaliauskas/Crawford match up......Did you even watch that fight.... First of all. Kavaliauskas fought Crawford with caution because even he was smart enough to know what exchanging with Crawford could do. He attempted to be a counter puncher which worked for a little while before Crawford made an adjustment and was able to attack him in angles. After landing his clean punch on Crawford that could be argued a knockdown.....what happened next..... Y'all so goofy, y'all get all excited over one punch and ignore your man getting hit repeatedly afterwards and STOPPED.

I'm not reading the rest of you post because if it is as silly as your first sentence, I already know it would be a waste of time.

Bringing up a match five, or so fights ago, without acknowledging that Crawford has improved since then, which he has, and stating one or two landed punches was "kicking ass" is disingenuous.

Like asking why Tank Davis couldn't get an old, shot, one-legged from round two ( torn Achilles tendon for which Gamboa had surgery after), chinny leprechaun Gamboa out of there until the twelfth and final round would be disingenuous.

If I didn't acknowledge Tank has improved since then. Which he has.

However yes Madrimov will be the hardest test of Crawford since he really hasn't been tested to date.

Plus, Crawford is one of the few top guys that never had a controversial decision. Not even close. The fight is interesting because Crawford is 36. He looked great in the Spence fight. Didn't look like he was missing a step. But he's in there with a tough dude. Crawford needs to set the tone quick and often. Can't let this dude get confident and fight his fight.
