Winning a Split decision against a mediocre fighter like Vazquez Jr has only dropped Don~aire's stock. Vazquez jr is slow, predictable and doesn't even have any " amateur background " and Donaire couldn't win spectacularly. Enough said, the Cuban takes Donaire to Cuban boxing class. Let it happen, Rigondeaux KO's him with just 1 body shot.

    Based on what?

Beating Cordova while running like a sissy and getting knocked down does not prove a ****. Winning against Ramos does not prove a ****.

    biased much?

you make it seem like it a legitimate "split" descision. That mexican judge was on somebody's payroll. no way was that fight 115/112 favoring vazquez

Rigondeaux easily won rounds 1 to 6 dropping Cordoba and easily beat Cordoba to the punch in every encounter even while hitting and moving. Oh, and don't forget that was Rigo's only " 7th " pro fight going against an ex-world champ with more than 40 pro fights. Don't you see that?

Just wait until rigo gets more and more confidence in the pros, the black kid from Santiago de Cuba will be " unstoppable ". :good

Possibly, but I have to see more of Rigo, Donaire is a big dude with a lot of pop, it would be very technical and if anything boring as Rigo seems to not do volume, but hard counter punching instead.

I would favor donaire of course, and rigo develops some more agressiveness with more volume punching to make his style much more fan friendly and deadlier which he has a good style I can see him taking the fight.

But based on what I have seen I'll take Donaire by UD if it happens any time soon. Rigo can definitely edit his style to become deadlier :)

i think rigon has a real good shot at beating donaire, but that fight wasnt a split decision. that one judge just majorly ****ed up.

People need to settle down. Rigo beat some weak ass Ramos, and Donaire just beat a much better Vazquez with a busted hand, granted he didn't blow him out. Let Rigo fight Vazquez while Donaire's hand heals.

I'm not sure. Donaire is quick and accurate enough to make Rigo pay for his sometimes sloppy jab, and he's bigger.
