Yes, it's been proven he's just not as good as previously thought.

It was noticeable that Vasquez respected Donaire's power. I see Rigondeaux doing the same with his already economical punch output. Donaire would not knock Rigo out due to his defense and slickness but Rigo wouldn't be able to capitalize enough to win. It would be very boring, with Donaire winning. It would be the same with any fighter at 122 save Nishioka who might have the mindset to bypass the fear of getting knocked out. That's the deal with Donaire, if you don't keep defense a priority you WILL get knocked out. That's why lately his fights are boring.

Rigo hasn't fought anybody for me to conclude that he can beat Donaire. Amateur credentials has no meaning in the paid ranks unfortunately Rigo fans.

Alright maybe 60/40 in favour of Rigo but I still think Donaire with his athleticism and power can negate Rigos obviously superior boxing skills to an extent. Rigo is far more experienced and has dealt with far more skilled boxers on his way to two olympic golds so it is hard to see him losing tbh.
    Donaire v Gamboa I'd make a true 50/50

donaire would be a huge step up for rigo and i simply don't know enough about rigo to give a fair opinion.
sure he's got an all time amateur career but the pros are a completely different monster and say what you want about donaire, but in his biggest fights he has shined.

Seriously, you need to learn something about boxing. Rigondeaux is a special sort of talent and if you can't recognize that then it's hard to take anything you say seriously.

    Donaire would school Rigo.

Donaire KO Rigo in less than 6.
