Good show so far. The Don fought a 12 rounder against a tough but one-dimensionaly ghanian and won by lockout. Real shame he doesn't have much power, but an impressive performance anyway considering this is his first fight beyond 6 rounds.

Macklin almost got himself ko'd by geard and was literally hanging on for much of the final 3 rounds. i don't think geard too well known for his punching either...macklin got the decision

frankie gavin is ringside and said he will be making his debut in february

Richie Woodhall looks to have schooled Broadhurst well....you are right about the lack of power though, defo something to work on. Good performance

wow, this stephen smith fella is a bit of a beast. stoppage number 4 for a damn good prospect...

oh, and they've just said that stephen foster jnr will probably challenge for nicky cooks "world" title. that will be three all-british "world" title fights in a row for that belt.

Okay, nothing special. We have to consider the African was a punching bag in there. Still, he has good skills and variety. Worries are no power to speak of, and I worried about his defence at times. Although he wasn't hit much against this poor opponent, I worry about his hand position and the way he jumped back.

    Smith looked better.

To be fair I think that my 10 year old daughter could have taken Razak the distance and looked good doing it.......having said that Smith does seem to have all the moves, albeit against can standard opposition. We will have to see how he shapes up against someone with a bit of fight in them.

I tend to ignore the opponents at this stage. The guy Smith fought just looked a durable type that picks up a paycheck and Broadhurst's had some life in him but no skill whatsoever to the point he was useless.

Just looking purely at what the boxers were doing Smith was noticeably more talented. More upper body movement, tighter guard, punches were crisper and sounded like they'd knockout my gran as opposed to Broadhurst's.
