No, when someone approaches you that has said hes going to assault you on several occasions, walking in an aggressive way you dont wait to take the first punches simply so you can claim the moral high ground afterward. Thats simply ridiculous and anyone saying it obviously is either a kid or never been in a situation approaching it / never taken a proper punch in the face.

This has been done to death. To ****in' death. I'm not a Haye fan, so I'm not biased here. If such an unpredictable character who has bit, slapped, spat at opponents, beat his missus said he is going to do you physical harm takes his jacket off and walks towards you, it's fair to say there's a good chance he's not just up for a polite chat. No one knows what he would have done, but why take the risk? What was Haye supposed to do? Stand there and wait for Chisora to make the first move? Wha if the first move from Chisora was to heabutt Haye? Or Bite him? Or crack him on the chin? This isn't no kung fu movie where you can see your enemies move a mile off and block it.

Whether Haye **** himself or not is not even relevant. Who gives a **** how he was feeling? If such a character like Chisora was walking towards ANY one of us on this forum in a menacing way, we'd ALL be shitting ourselves or at least feeling anxious. We're not talking about Alexis Arguello here FFS, this is Chisora.

Haye only tried to make his face look better, Makes me laugh if him and Chisora done the biz and finished what they started they'd be giving it big-un. Cos Chisora got weighed in nicely and Charles got some as well they don't like it and want to moan.
