Don Cockell vs Joe Frazier

Stopped inside 6 rounds especially if he fights Joe in a tiny16ft ring as he did Rocky.Frazier was quicker into range and with his punches,he rips Dons belly until the hands come down, then over comes that hook and the fights stopped.

Cockell was a slippery ******* for his, lets say, girth, but that's about all he has going for him. Frazier KO/TKO mid rounds

 

Don gets absolutely obliterated in this one. He only fought as a podgy Heavyweight in the first place because glandular issues and rheumatic fever had left him unable to shift the fat from his frame. Very good Light-Heavyweight, but nothing more than a makeshift at Heavy on the world stage.

I’m split on this one? I mean Frazier has his right arm amputated and it is hard to see a one armed fighter as valiant as that is, actually pull this out. Perhaps if he had another punch but since he never threw a jab in his life and may not have been smart enough to spell it. Combine this with his plastic chin and things don’t look good.

I am not sure he could beat a journeyman TBH. Cockell by 2nd round stoppage

True enough Birm,but Frazier would be in his element. And he wouldn't struggle like Marciano did to put him away ,he'd rip away like pounding a slab of meat .But yes ,horrible mate no doubt .
