I didn't realize that King had put him in purgatory that long. Time crawls by when you're not having fun. Seems strange that Napari's team had to reach back to 1992 for trash talk, though - I hope De Mori runs straight through him.

I am a licensed loan officer/real estate agent and hear people fall for the bait and switch tactics of my competitors far too often. They always say, "Well if something doesn't work out I'll call you back," but by the time the ink dries it's always too late. They are either too embarrassed to call back, or on the hook for a bunch of money and can't be helped.

That must be the way it is when a fighter signs like Don King. It's hard to feel sorry for a guy who signs with King over other, more reputable promoters.

    Congrats to ESB!

On another forum (BS), if you mention Don King and what he is, the thread is deleted within minutes!

You got that right. That Don King pig ruined Gerry Cooney's career. Gentleman Gerry wanted no part of King's slave contracts so King purposefully went out and stopped ranked contenders he controlled from fighting Cooney. Gerry goes years without proper competition and takes the Holmes fight out of desperation. Even Holmes, who rarely congratulates any fighter was shocked at how well Cooney did against him considering how little he had fought thanks to the devil Don King.
