**** PBS. He may have been guilty of those charges and of being a despicable human being in general, but he's still head and shoulders over the vermin of PBS.

If I could push the man into an erupting volcano, and get away with it, I have a horrible feeling that I might actually do it!

Well PBS never, to my knowledge, curb stomped a guy or robbed fighters of their career and millions of dollars. SO, you know.

No, they're more insidious than that..plus they take my tax dollars, and Don King doesn't do that.

Hating PBS is overwhelmingly a political agenda. They do tons of great cultural, news, kid's & educational programming. The world is way better off that they exist.

It is telling that Janitor, who is usually very judicious & restrained, feels so strongly about Don King.

    King is a True Psychopath.
The extent to which he will rob, con, damage the fortunes of, betray, & put his fighter's at risk + destroy anyone else for his own gain seems limitless.

Her has even lied about & withdrawn support from alleged charities.
If he did any good for te sport he has furthered the utter corruption of, it is stolen from more worthy advocates, or incidental to his endless self-aggrandizement & crimes.

I do not know of even one credible account-or even an allegation...of actual Human Decency from him.

Don King was a colourful character and has become a bit of a scapegoat.
The self righteous anger vented at him has become a standard trope on these forum.
People like King exist is all walks of business.

His violent past is still being held against him.

He did more good for boxing than bad.

Don King might be a despicable human being but he built boxing up into a huge money maker by bringing in the showmanship during the pay per view era.....he has done more good than bad for the sport even though I disagree with how he screwed fighters.....a good friend of mine was told by King to weigh 154lbs for a fight with Aaron Pryor when King picked them up at the airport in his limo he told my friend he looked a little heavy for a fight at 140...my friend lost the weight overnight or lose the payday and he was broke so he needed it but he climbed in the ring with Pryor shaky and weak and was stopped in the 2nd Rd......I told me that King seemed to know he was broke when he called....so basically he was hustled because King wasn't going to pay his way home from Chicago?

    Boxing is basically corrupt.

Most promoters are to some degree corrupt.

    The governing bodies are corrupt

Some of the managers are corrupt

King just seems to be the most corrupt figure in recent times.

    Bob Arum is no angel.

He once was quoted as saying, "Yesterday, I was lying to you. Today I am telling the truth." LOL

They wouldn't give 2 armpit farts about King or anything he's done if it weren't for his support for Donald Trump.

The documentary was made in 1991. Now who has the agenda?

People wouldn't have predicted his presidency in 2012 much less 1991.
