Getting a Don King fighter on your promotion means paying Don King. If they weren't prepared to do that, they shouldn't be throwing Stiverne's name around. They apparently weren't offering enough to get Jennings either. They want a bargain and are going to blame everyone for "ducking" their roid rager when they can't get a name opponent. But name opponents cost big money. We'll see.
I do believe in euthanasia for old individuals suffering from acute dementia.King would certainly qualify.:dead
Stiverne had been trying without success to free himself of Don King. Sad that he can't get away. I know he considers this a lesson learned.
No need to comment, Chef, but I figured King representing Stiverne was the reason Vitali tried to stay on longer than he intended, to beat Stiverne so someone else could take WBC belt that Wlad could work with in order to sign a deal to unify. Then, when injury/politics made that impossible, there was no movement about unification while Stiverne was champ because Wlad knew it would be impossible while Stiverne (hence King) held the belt.
And Haymon is better? His " Champions" and their defenses are abominable for the most part. However,I agree,King is a thorn on boxings side.
