    I hope King doesn't try to put on Ali-Frazier IV.

    Be cool if they could both get 25-30 million dollars post taxes and call it quits for goods. Solve most of both of their problems, that'd be about the happiest ending either is going to get at this point.

    "Holy-Tyson 3" for the WBF title in early 2011 would sell with me for no more than 30 USA bucks on PPV....... YES! A reduced asking PPV price.....

    Tyson doesn't need tune-up fights at this age and stage; gym wars over the Fall and early Winter will have to do for his training......

    Let's do it........... WORD!:deal:good:nut:patsch:roll::nono:hat

    That's true........ Rooney can't do for **** Tyson at this juncture....... It doesn't matter who trains Tyson in 2010, his skills are gone.... Perhaps only the power is left over.?.?

    Tyson probably doesn't care about boxing anymore so I imagine it would be a boring fight.
    I wish these guys fought in the early 90s instead.

    Tyson - Holyfield in 1991 when it was supposed to be would have been much better :good

    Tyson - Holyfield in 2011? As much as i admire and respect both fighters for the accomplishments, and for entertaining me with their fights during my adolesent years i just dont want to see it.....They both should be happily retired....Mike cant possibly put together anythin serious after 5yrs....even with a good trainer and a tune up fight.....And as crazy as evander is still soldiering on at 48, he really didnt look that great against Botha.....

    That said i'd still watch the fight if it ever arises.....but with mixed emotions :nut

    Tyson obviously wont fight again.
    Everything about him these days says he wont.

    And even if he did, he's not dumb enough to make his opponent Evander Holyfield - who would kill him, perhaps literally.

    King has lost his power. Tyson and Holy might dislike each other, but if they can make a few million together, we'll see Tyson vs. Holyfield III.

    It's a meaningless fight in the scheme of things but they both need the money. It could happen. An exhibition would be the best thing, maybe even with headgear. I think people would pay to see it just because of their history.

    If this farce does indeed happen,Tyson would get slaughtered. Holyfield is old and past it,but at least he's kept himself in reasonable shape,and has been active.

    Neither should be fighting, and Tyson certainly doesnt want another butt kicking, but all of us would tune in, thats for sure. I think what Kalasin meant was, the trainer Tyson hired if he chose to fight, would be a pretty good barometer of Tysons intentions (whether he has anything left or not), as guys like Bright, and Fenech, were more friendly cheerleaders than no BS boxing guys.

    Personally Id like to see Holyfield get a shot at Vitali in Oct. Forget about Briggs, fight Holyfield so he can call it day. I think if he got stopped by Vitali he would finally stop fighting.
