The Middleweight Roster looks very strong to me... Other than that, it is disappointing...

Don King should have added McClellan since he added Eubank and Benn and let the G-MAN make some money off of royalties.

Round 2 was awesome, but the Knockout Kings series had the biggest roster from memory.

Boxing hasn't got a "FIFA" - So there's no single authority to licence EVERY fighter from.

That list is a little different from fight nights - I'll give it a go, as long as there's a decent CAB feature and the game acutaly PLAYS well.

Fight Night is a great series BUT:

Straight right hands do about as much damage as a jab
No one punch KO's or knock downs without haymaker punches.
Crappy roster of fighters too, especially the PAL PS3 version that dropped Hoilyfield!!!

dam yeah i think round 2 had the best roster KOK had a good roster but i think Rd2 had the most. but if they had made the straight left or right more powerful that would be dope .

forthe hayemakers it was al about countering to get the sudden ko or a bigg upper cut at he opening of a round most of the time the guy kept getting up though

You play online against kids who JUST throw haymakers and wonder why they get countered to bits - I'm like 50 - 0 online on PS3

Nintendo still owns Tyson's video game rights. Nobody's ever getting Tyson, unless Nintendo starts making sports games again.

Golden Boy has a contract with EA, hence no Golden Boy fighters (or nobody who was with Golden Boy at the time they entered into the license agreement with EA around the time of FN2).

It's tough to get a full roster. Need to negotiate with all the individual fighters and all their promoters. I don't see too many Top Rank guys on there either. Only a few top rank and no GBP means you'll be missing a lot of the biggest fighters, and guys like FMJ and Haye probably just priced themselves out from being in the game. A bit disappointing they couldn't get more classic fighters though. Generally they're the easiest licenses to get, since they need some source of income.

Nice to see they get to use Caesars Palace though.

Surprised to see they're using Kirpa instead of Devon Alexander. One would think this would be the perfect opportunity for King to pimp some of his prospects.

Hopefully the career mode will be more difficult than the one on Fight Night, that was a joke.

The first thing I'll do when I buy this game is make Golota-Darchinyan and KTFO Vic's annoying ass.

I wold never buy this game for the simple fact it will put money into the pocket of Don King. I dont even order PPV's that are promoted by DK. . i just download the fights off news groups or stream them.

Is there really that much of a difference between King and someone like Gary Shaw? If you're against corruption, no matter what PPV you're buying, chances are you're putting money into the pocket of someone corrupt.

Roster seems kinda shitty well not shitty but lacking superstars like Tito,RJJ,DLH,Mosley,Cotto,Pac etc so thats disapointing but I can make some nice matches out of that roster with that Middleweight divison.

If I had an Xbox i'd get it, regardless of the weak roster. Hopefully EA figures out some way to revive the FN franchise, give it a revamp and release FNrd4

What am I saying...the next 4 months are going to be spent playing GTA4 anyway...
