Can't read all that. But I remember Chavez was making real money for the first time in his life with King. Chavez used to hug Don in the ring after his fights and say things laughing like a little kid like "Don King is my father." King is a crook of course, but JC Chavez looked like he wasn't doing too bad with Don.
Stiverne wouldn't even have a belt if not for King. Who was clamoring to see Stiverne fight over the last few years? King got Stiverne an eliminator with Ray Austin of all people to qualify for a final eliminator against Arreola, who he beat. Stiverne and Austin were involved in that eliminator because of King's close relationship with Jose Sulaiman. That's it. Stiverne (and Austin - who was coming off a knockout loss in an eliminator against Solis) hadn't done anything to warrant being in the title picture. King got Stiverne his eliminator, which led to two fights with Arreola and a vacant WBC title. That's going to get him the Wilder fight - which will go to purse bid and Stivene will get 75 percent. That's going to get Stiverne a shot at Wlad for all the belts. Ask Adonis Stevenson, Stiverne's buddy, how Stevenson's promoter has "promoted" Adonis right out of the limelight. When it comes to boxing, King is Stiverne's best friend. Nobody else has helped him like that.
