How crucial a strategic tool is signing the legenday Mexican for King with the major broadcasters. Given the infrequency of King shows, can Barrera get the momentum he needs under the guidance of the 76 year old promoter. I care, good yet shocking news. You guys that claim Barrera is completely out of it forget that he actually fought the P4P#1 fighter in his last fight and P4P#3 before that and against Marquez it was a close tough fight, the Pacquiao fight is another story and for obvious reasons. MAB can still give others a decent fight out there, I wouldn't consider him completely out of it, he's definitely not prime material but not beyond shot either.
Barrera has had a long career and taken some licks lately. His got alot of mileage. This signing is bad news and unnecessary.

It didn't surprise me that Barrera signed a new promotion contract with King or anyone. There have been rumors discused hear on ESB for sometime that Barrera was looking to contuniue his careear what did surprise me was that he signed a 5 year contract.
