**** this game.....does anybody know when fight night rd 4 comes out??

 

ive been trying to see some screen shots on it but havent found anything. I heard there was no fightnight 4 coming out. I hope thats wrong because that game was bad ass

 

I read that the company or branch, or whatever that developed fight night for EA was shut down by EA, hence no more fight night.

Good news that they are not producing anymore fight nights coz that game sucks. The only decent boxing game EA has produced is the original Knockout Kings. I hate it when lifebar is used to just to ko your opponent. I want KO's in any round and not dependent on lifebars. Thats why i love the Original KO kings and Victorious Boxers game. Bring on the Prizefighter.

 

I wonder if there is a special button combination to take a dive and throw the fight, and if some match ups are impossible to make because of virtual don king interference.

 

Thats funny, they should have Don king come into the ring after a championship fight and wave the the american flag saying " Only in America", now thats a game I will purchase.

Ok, here's the correct info for all of you guys.

EA Chicago closed because titles like Fight Night and Def Jam Icon weren't high sellers. They also had problems with other huge games not coming out on time. So they cut the "worst" studio, that way they could focus on getting currently developed games out of the way to make money to fund more games.

Q: What happens to Fight Night?

A: The series is not totally finished. Currently there are rumors that Fight Night will return after a serious revamping. Before EA Chicago closed they signed a different producer on to see if he could add something new to the game. Also there were rumors over the summer that EA was preparing a Round 4, but they wanted to make a major overhaul.

Q: What is Don King's Prizefighter all about?

A: Boxing. Other than that, nobody really knows what the game will look like or any of the special features (unless you're one of the guys coding the game).
