Many of the Butards and even Bute himself has woken up and accepted their dose of reality, you clearly have not :-(

 

I agree in the aspect that its only one fight. Doesn't mean he can't beat ANYBODY at the top level. Wasn't like Froch was a scrub.

Problem Bute faces, is not in the fact that he lost, but in the manner of defeat. Because I tell you this, the fight was a whitewash. Bute just couldn't handle Froch's power at ALL. And his inside game is zilch. And he can't tie up. He was exposed to me. He's a very good boxer and a tactician, but against true pressure, I can only see him folding time and time again.

 

True, Bute has way too many things to correct to have a shot in a rematch. Other boxers also have a clear blueprint now how to beat him.

 

Yeah, of course, guys like Ward or Dirrell would be able to follow the clear blueprint you're talking about, which consists of explosing with monster power-combination while eating flush counters and overwhelm Bute with brute force.

Not many boxers would be able to follow that kinda blueprint. I don't say Bute won't lose again, but styles make fights and IMO, the only thing that could prevent Bute from learning from his loss, would be that his mental is too much affected. But we'll only know when he fights again.

Talent wise, Bute could come back. Against Froch though? I don't know, Froch seemed to have figured out Bute. He has is number. But what concerns me most, as a Bute fan, is that Froch could've taken more then the belt last saturday. Froch may also have taken Bute's soul by the way he brutalysed him. Although Bute seems pretty resilient. Futur will tell.
