Donaire and Top Rank resolve difficulties: Nonito's coming back!

    Of course he was, I'd imagine the entire basis for the fight being made was that. But made to order or not, you do that to a good fighter, who's given all world-class opposition he's ever come up against a decent fight, you deserve a hell of a lot of credit for it.

    I love the way Donaire adapted in that fight in the space of a round. In the first he was throwing the jab while holding his hands high, and it allowed Sydorenko to evade and block the majority of them with his high guard. Second round on, Donaire started throwing an up-jab, from around about the waist, and Volodymyr couldn't see them coming, having his guard pierced with regularity. Donaire was able to start off his assaults more effectively then, plus it gave him increased variety, as he also battered him with the lead right.
