I cannot post links but just google it. I think he gets stopped this time, but I admire his courage for wanting to fight the best after he got KTFO lol.
Really? You think so. Now that I think of it, Rigondeaux is getting older, and has been getting caught lately. Maybe Donaire isn't as brave as I thought for taking this fight.
Rigo is too inactive, and in his last couple of fights I think we've seen his athleticism deteriorate. As a Cuban he is probably older than claimed and he looks it. During his inactive years in Cuba he was also a heavy smoker, which is going to accelerate the ageing process. There was a sparring video of Rigo against a third rate amateur not long ago and he looked terrible. I'd prefer Rigo to retire now, he had one of the best amateur careers ever and has his signature pro career win against Donaire. I don't want to see him take a loss against someone who couldn't carry his bag five years ago. I'd pick Donaire to beat him among others.
It should be a nice payday for Rigo, which would be great for him. Even though the first fight was a total boxing lesson by Rigo, I think the sequel would be a lot closer. Donaire did knock Rigo down in the first fight. Can't wait to see it!
