Nonito looked super comfortable at that weight. Fast, crisp and powerful.....I'd favour him in the rematch.

What he did to that little ukey was brutal :!:

Bad style all round for Vic. I think he would KO Vic again.

Have to agree Donaire looked pretty good, did not think Sidorenko was gonna get up after the knockdown at the end of the first.

Unfortunately i would have to favour Donaire by KO too.
Vic will always have a punchers chance i guess.

Before you write Vic off, just consider the state of mind he was in when he fought him the 1st time.

Vic was completely off the planet mentally. He believed he could knock Paq out & reckoned ODH would have gone the same way.
    He thought he was invinsible.

He walked into Donnaire like he wasn't there & got put to sleep.
The thump back to reality done more damage than the KO.

As I understand it, there is box-off, or whatever you want to call it, early in the new year for the unified Bantamweight division that he's been lined up for.

See how he goes with Mares.

Vic Schooled by Donaire! Darchinyan looked horrible against Barcelona a journeyman. Donaire's left uppercut, overhand right combo knockdown against Sidorenko was one of the best ever!!

I watched the KO just yesterday. Well timed punch on a fighter with a good attack but next to no defence

I think it could go either way, Vic does have the ability to box extremely well, it's his mental game that let's him down.

Just watched the fight. Nonito looked amazing. Crisp, lighting speed and carried his power up to BW. But he was fighting a much smaller guy.

Can't wait for the Montiel fight. Montiel is very comfortable at 118 so Nonito won't be able to bully him around as much.

As much as I love Vic, I think Nonito is a bad bad matchup for him.

I'd say the rematch is almost dead and buried. Darchinyan is locked in that tourney and by the end will probably start showing his age, while Donaire is set to face Montiel and possibly move up in weight to eventually face Vazquez jr.

As other posters pointed out, just a bad matchup all-round and he'd either taste the canvas again or try boxing a bit more conservatively and look like an amateur getting schooled.

    Both on different paths:
Donaire will probably end as a featherweight. He looks quite big for these light divisions so may even find himself at super-feather if the opponents are right.

Vic should concentrate on being the dominant batam champ. I see him beating Mares by TKO/KO, but think he loses to both Agbeko and Perez on points. War Vic!

If he gets through the tourny, and bonito beats montiel, I think Vic will fight him for the belts.

I must be the only person who has Vic in a rematch. I think he would take Nonito don-intrim much more seriously in the rematch.

Vic thought he would be a walk over like his brother Glen, who he smashed his jaw to bits. So i can see why he thought he would do the same to nonito.

Vic is no little man like Vargas and all the other midgets he beats up too, he has not fought anyone of note before last weekends fight.
