NO schooling in my book. When a fighter with such natural talent as Rigo glides around effortlessly, that's just how he is. Donaire just doesn't have the gifts to do that. He has risen through the divisions collecting belts and fine scalps in the process so let's not pretend that he is a not a great fighter. Mayweather doesn't school people. He just beats them because he is better and Rigo was just better on the night.

For the first time in ever (and I gave Bradley the W over Pacquiao) I actually agree with most of HBO. It was a whitewash apart from the 10th, and only then did Donaire actually land anything solid to score a KD. Donaire did absolutely nothing all fight as far as I am concerned, and I tried my best to call it down the middle, as always.

He fought the complete opposite of what was needed, and it was unusual for Donaire, you'd have expected him to attack and pressurize, but he seemed quite content fighting Rigondeaux's preferred fight (I mentioned this mistake before the fight) and he didn't do anything to change the tempo, until the 10th.

Awful strategy, I'm not saying rush in like a ******, but Donaire could have brought it and be calculated doing it. That wasn't the Donaire who fought Arce, and as expected, the excuses were already being drafted up just in case before the fight, regarding preparation.....I think most of us expected much better from Donaire.

Rigo was 100% right, the way he fought, meant Donaire looked like a one dimensional average one punch fighter.

He was made to look ordinary. Rigondeaux was a class act, showing multiple skills against a P4P top 10 and undefeated fighter. It was a sublime text-book performance and one I thoroughly enjoyed as a pure and true Boxing connoisseur and purist, in my view it was a masterclass and a masterful performance from Rigondeaux. Straight from the first bell. Nearly punch perfect, and nearly a perfectly fought fight, apart from a slight opening he left in the 10th.

As always in boxing, you know just how much a fighter has been beat, when they are in denial and plucking excuses out for the loss after the fight. This **** is like Carl Froch against Andre Ward. Disbelief and deluded.

    THIS CANT HAPPEN TO ME!

    YES IT CAN!

    .....and it did.
