The hate mob is gonna be out for Nonito Doniare very soon if he doesnt start fighting relevant fights Its a shame too because he's one of the sports premier fighters, he's just gotta stop with the bull**** and fight
All fair points. :thumbsup In defense of Donaire, though, he did try to defect TR in favor of GB - and had he'd been successful, GB would have surely matched him with Mares by now.
If you actually compare Rigo's recent opposition to the recent opposition of all of Donaire's recent opponents, he deserves to have already had a shot at Donaire. Beating Cordoba, Ramos, and Kennedy, two top fives and a top fifteen guy at the weight, and in actuality, all legit contenders, is more than what Mathebula, and Vasquez Jr. had done recently, and while Nishioka's last win was over shopworn Rafael Marquez, Nishioka hadn't fought in a year. I am just putting this out there because people are making excuses for Donaire's cowardice, claiming Rigondeaux hasn't fought anyone.
2012 Vazquez Jr SD, vacant WBO Mathebula UD, IBF Nishioka TKO9, (real WBC) and vacant RING If he plans on skyrocketing through the divisions, than he sure as hell did work at 122 all in one calendar year. What, he "ducked" Rigondeaux? Please. At 126, I'm guessing the goal would be with fellow Top Rank guys in Salido and M. Garcia. I wouldn't mind seeing him face Terrazas as his first fight at 126.
Donaire is head and shoulders above anyone at 122 IMO. Although I would love to see the Rigo or Mares/Moreno winners. 126 would be interesting. Not because any of those guys are as good, but because they are all so much bigger than him.
The win over Nishioka does more for me than one over Rigondeaux would have. That is based on who Nish and Rigo have beaten, with an emphasis on the recent.
It is up to Nonito and his handlers to determine his career path. Imagine that. They don't give a **** about what you think.
no. YOU DONT KNOW YOUR **** u dumbass 3rd worlder. you cant even name the top fighters in the division nor seen them fight. stay in your lane, *****. the Pac-May section.
Donaire is on the way to follow Pacquiao's footsteps. If no one is worth fighting in 122, he might as well invade 126.
That is funny because in the last year, Rigondeaux stopped Ramos a top five 122 pounder, and Kennedy, who was ranked 14 by the WBA at the time. While Nishioka, was on the shelf for a year prior to this past Saturday.
You know damn well Nonito won't fight Mikey Garcia! Same trainers and same promoters, so Mikey is out. Other than Salido, who else at 126? That is why a move up to 126 is better for him than staying at 122 where he will be forced to fight Moreno, Agbeko, Rigondeaux. (Not Mares since Scumbag Arum already stated that fight aint happening)
