tough fight for Donaire..but i think Montiel loses via decision. Donaire will be too fast for him.

Good fight to test Donaire to see if he is worthy of fighting Mijares.
I still think Mijares spanks Donaire any day.

:deal Montiel is one of the most overlooked elites in the game...this is a loss for Donaire.

I agree people overlook him. He is pretty good IMO. I would say its gonna be a tough fight for Donaire and we will see if he can compete with the good fighters at 115.
If he gets the win then Mijares-Donaire must happen. That will end all this Donaire hype.

Montiel got an ugly Draw with Gonzales, Got a disputed win against Gorres. Don't overrate Montiel.

Mijares was Good & I picked him to beat Arce. The same Arce who's ducking Dachinyan.. Who's eventually was Koed by Donaire. Mijares Who's got a Draw with Maldonado who Donaire Koed & Dominated. Don't overrate Mijares either.

    Say goodbye to Amsterdam!!!:hi:

Looking up to boxrec again noob.

Montiel actually lost to Gonzales, who is a great fighter and still has several great match ups ahead of him and will be a huge impact in the higher weight divisions, their fight was very contested. There is no footage available from the Gorrez fight to formulate a good opinion.

There is also no footage and articles regarding Mijarez/Maldonado to see what really happened. Mijarez is one of the most deserving fighters today for the top 10 p4p list, and I don't believe Donaire has a good chance of beating him.

Montiel will be a tough cookie to crack for Donaire, I do hope that this fight gets made or Donaire accepts the rematch with Vic.

I'm picking Montiel. I suspect Donaire was having weight troubles before his last fight, so I think he's big enough for the weight class, but Montiel is just too good.
