That's understandable because Nonito came from a long layoff. He may have looked tired and sluggish in that fight but definitely not shaky as you claimed. You should see his latest fight when he demolished an unbeaten fighter who got knocked down countless times.

naw, i seen the KO coming after viC was wobbled a few times before running into the same brutal hook. -i just dont see him being as reckless if and when they meet again.

It doesn't matter if he runs straight to the left or if Nonito runs the left hook straight to his chin, its bound to happen. Vic is an aggressive pressure fighter and Nonito is a counter puncher - Donaire will counter Vic to another kO. I cannot see VIC changing his style and trying to outbox Donaire, it just won't happen, Vic won't change what has been working for him. Wreckless or not, I can't see him avoiding Donaire's best punch and that is the counter. Vic isn't a passive fighter, period. The biggest problem that Nonito presents to Vic is that he is a much bigger fighter. The usual advantages that Vic has over his opponents in being able to over power them won't work against Nonito, and Nonito is as fast, if not faster than Darchinyan. Whats worse is that although Vic cannot hurt him, Donaire can hurt Vic. Overall, I think its a mismatch.

nonito neutralized viCs aggression perfectly to the tEE.

but there is a such thing as controlled aggression in which vics capable of executing IMO. i agree that vic will not try and outbox him but there will certainly be a different gameplan other than lunging in hands down and chin up..

btw, you must be out your rabbit ass mind if you think nonito cant be hurt... seriously, GTFO here! :rofl

He can, but I don't think Vic is the guy to do it. Bad, bad match-up for Vic.

What's hilarious is that the biggest "**** you" Vic can get him with is by not fighting

Do yourself a favor and rewatch the first fight, rd 3. In that case, rd 1 through 5, since Donaire dominated each round. Anyhow, pay attention to when they exchange, even when Nonito decides to trade. Its obvious who is the stronger of the two and who was hurt by the punches. There is nothing to take away from Vic, I like him, but I can't see him do anything different that would allow him to win against Donaire, let alone knock him out. Even if he fought more cautiously and attempted to avoid the ko, he would get outboxed, outpointed. But the reality is I don't see Vic being the type of guy to go in there and survive. Sure,he would probably have a more efficient, smarter game plan and try to box, but once he realizes that he can't outbox Donaire, he would likely go for broke and end up getting ko'd in doing so.

Donaire is the best opposition there is. But why oh why is he not fighting him? He can always tell Shaw to **** himself, he wants this fight.

I see it like you do. :good You cannot take away the brawler in Vic. He cannot beat Donaire by boxing him.

Foreman was the hardest puncher but got knocked out by Ali who "floats like a butterfly, stings like a bee."
