I think you've missed my point. Perhaps targeting some other fighters in, and around, his weight class may make it more likely a rematch can happen. Vic is looking at unifying bantam and I'm convinced he would like his career to culminate in a fight with Vazquez. Nonito needs to somehow make sure he figures in those plans.

    thats bobs job.

the only problem is that nonito isnt marketable at the moment and theres no big fights out there for him. vic on the other hand is a hot commodity.

It's not about reviving Nonito's career. It's about Darchi's legacy when he retires from boxing. If he cannot avenge this loss which you said you're confident he can, he will forever be haunted by his embarassing loss in his career. I have nothing against Vic campaigning in higher division. The problem is the more he ducks Nonito, the more he will be perceived as scared. Nowadays in modern technological age, perception becomes reality.

Who said so? Let the promoters take care of hyping this fight. Btw, is Agbeko more marketable than Donaire? Donaire, btw, has his own fanbase.

You know what if Pac has the situation as Vic, he will surely avenge his losses. Vic's tormentor is very much active while Pac's retired decades ago. Now, you appeared more scared than Vic, amigo. Donaire is calling him out, and Vic is ducking him like a scared chicken. Chicken seems to be his favorite animal through the years.

So, would you like Vic to fight Nonito after Agbeko? This is huge in HBO, amigo. It is a stand alone fight for PPV.

Realspitts always misses points. Whether Vic wants or not, Nonito's shadow looms large over his head. A point in fact, Nonito is ahead of him in P4P standing. :deal

a p4p standing means jack **** when your career isnt going anywhere compared to the next man unifying a division and still taking on tougher comp.

    1) stop gargling nonitos kids

    2) understand that vic doesnt need him

    3) and swallow

i don't thnink vic is ducking nonito. anyone who will go to his oponent's hometurf and fight them is not certainly scared of anything. it's just that his promoter has an agenda against donaire that he wouldn't let his cash cow, touch donaire. now, if vic cares for the only tarnish in his record, he would tell shaw to stop being a dick and let him avenge his loss.

as other posters were saying, nonito was not exactly slacking. his opponents, though had little name recognition, are good fighters. even in his last fight, he was acknowledged in the ring's top 10 p4p fighters because of how he handled a very good prospect in martinez.

Vic is not ducking Nonito but obviously his nuthugggers are nervous. They don't want Vic to touch Nonito w/ a 10-foot pole. Let this fight happen. Both have P4P stature and may be best man win. Let Vic prove that his KO loss is no fluke.
