I hope Montiel won't get sick at the last minute.
Donaire was the most avoided boxer in the
flyweight division after he knocked out Vic Darchi.

I'm referring to Sidorenko who beat Agbeko by MD in 2004 who beat Darchi last year.

Lets not overhype him ok.... Donaire has the goods... and to be honest his athleticism is on the level of a RJJ, or quite close... which is crazy... but he is not there quite yet.

You are right but he is the first person to beat Joseph Agbeko and Poonsawat Kratingdaenggym.

He also has two draws against Cordoba that shouldve went his way.

Andddddd his only two loses are close ones against Anselmo Moreno who shouldnt be forgotten when talking about Donaire and Montiel for who is the best at 118.

And it's not like Donaire knocked him out quick or just won the fight he beat the **** out of his for 4 rounds and knocked him out. You dont get more impressive then that.

He is still lingering in obscurity. The bozo commentators on the top rank
card calling the fight obviously didn't get briefed that the montiel fight
is awaiting nito for feb, 19th on HBO. They wanted him to just abandon
118 and jump to 122 since the bantam tourney was tying up ALL the
fighters at 118(According to them). I guess they don't see the importance of montiel/donaire.

Well, the truth is that it will determine the best fighter in the world p4p
    behind manny and then fraud.

IMO, marquez nor martinez are quite on the same level with whomever
comes out victorious in the montiel/donaire fight.

Nonito is an excellent fighter. However, it looks like he had at least 20 pounds on this guys. I am surprised it took 4 rounds to finish him up.

NONITO Is a great boxer I love his style... I'm a fan of it.

He is defensive minded and agressive when he needs to be.... I love that, kind of remind me of a faster Morales but not as agressive IMO....don't quote me on that...haha

Not true. Only 1 poster here hating him for ridiculous reasons. Pinoys in the Philippines love him. He speaks Filipino and Visayan dialect. He's more Filipino that the Pinoy hater here.

I can't really understand why that guy hates Donaire for having Robert Garcia as trainer. :patsch
