Donaire will fight down to the level of the competition for 'show' value. I urge you to revisit that fight and pay very close attention to what is said in Donaire's corner. They could have been talking about the weather. No concern/sense of urgency whatsoever. At the beginning of the 10th? Garcia basically tells him it's time to get serious and he goes out and promptly breaks Mathebula's jaw.

He knew he would have to give Nish his FULL attention and respect so that was a different fight and not because Nish was old, rusty and past it. Nonito will approach the Rigo fight the same way he approached the Nish fight. Don't expect to see him giving Rigo anywhere near the same opportunities.

Hermit my man, Cordova didn't do $h1t to Rigondeaux and Marroquin can bang and out weighted Guillermo by a least 8 pounds that night, still Rigondeaux didn't back off and went after him, you seems to forget all the legal issues Rigondeaux was having, 3 days before the fight he was in Miami just to find out if he was going to fight, Rubio has to kick his a$$ because he didn't want to fight he was that fed up, I had read some of your post and you look like a smart person but we all fans, we know what is going on, you have to take into considaration other factors and analized the fights like a real fan and not a bias fanatic, you want Donaires to win but you are trying to minimize Rigondeaux achievments, why? There's no other SBW in history that has won a belt on his 8 fight, regardless of what you think amateur pedigre is a leverage when you get to the pros, ODLH, Evander, the Spinks brothers, Ali, Frazier and coountless more has gotten juicy contracts because of that... In resume Rigondeaux was arguably the best amateur in the history of the game, right along with Stevenson, Savon and Lazlo, and has done what other fighters take a life time to do it in just 8 fights, chinned or no chinned we are going to find out who is a better boxer come april.

No idea mate! Darchinyan isn't that good neither is Montiel. Although they are definitely tough to beat. Donaire hasn't really been in a fight were he has to answer some adversity.

Apart from busting his hands open and continuing to fight which is good. But his chin and body hasn't been tested frequently. If Rigo get's some success, then we will definitely see how tough DOnito is. Rigo is happy to play the running role. Donaire hates chasing so stylistically Rigo has the advantage.

I have no idea. I think Rigo might shock the world here..

Lying by omission, you can count with one hand and still have fingers left to keep up counting, how many fighters has face the same competition Rigondaux has...

Donaire has a left hand and that's it. He's not going to land that uppercut against Rigo with his stance so the only punch Rigo has to avoid is that left hook. I think Rigo's timing and passive fighting style will prevent Donaire from landing it. IMO this is Rigo's fight to lose, Donaire isn't as good as people make him out to be.

bro the broken hand was for real, its not an excuse. I've seen a video of it being treated during the start of the arce fight(hbo or showtime copy i think), thats also where they mention that donaire subjected himself to strict vada testing without anyone even asking

The love tap peck on Rigo's chin will have Rigo on his knees lucky to get up by the 10 count.

What if Donaire decides to jab? Donaire has reach and power. Just a peck on the cheek with either fist will put Rigo on his knees.
