    Absolutely.

I was going for Montiel but thought Donaire would win. I did not expect him to win this early/impressively. Montiel is an excellent fighter. Anyone that can dispose of a Montiel caliber fighter this impressively is a fantastic fighter.

Nothing but credit to the winner and new........

I pick Donaire to win by stoppage but that was something way more than I expected. Terrific performance from a future P4Per.

That was a stunning performance. I thought before that a fight with Mares/Agbeko may be close but not now. What a fighter.

strong left hook KDed montiel. he looked like he was shaking but he was trying to get up. referee gave him a chance but he is not defending intelligently so it was stopped. rnd2.

montiel is riding on a ko streak. this result was farthest from my mind. i really thought it would go the distance. that is some serious power from donaire.

Arum looked sad during the interview. One less cash-cow maybe.

I was thinking Donaire having a hard time with Montiel.

Man I was shocked! Second round left hook was devastating, and I was thinking... Man that was Montiel...

I too was rooting for Montiel even though I felt Donaire would win but I'm still shocked at how quickly he disposed of Montiel, who even though he lost so quickly, I (and I believe most on here) still hold in high regard.

What's crazy is not just what Donaire did to Vic and Montiel, it's that both of them were at the top of their game. Donaire's also got a hell of a knack for beating his opponents the worst they've ever been beaten.

What a fighter. When I see him, I see greatness. It's an overused term to say a fighter is the total package, but in Donaire's case, it's true. The dude's got everything you want in a fighter.

    Special, special talent.
