Donaire keeps talking about his baby - is he still 100% focussed and hungry for this?

On the other hand, Rigondeaux, with little in the bank, away from his family - a family that probably don't eat so well on a day to day basis - damn! I know who I think is more motivated!

That's gonna be his excuse mark my words . I saw Rigo's open workout and he really looks IMPRESSIVE , Donaire looked like a comedian in his workout . Lol .

I say rigo is the hungrier boxer out of the two.
NoKneeToe thinks he's entitled to everything in boxing.

    Yap.

Some fighters, perhaps most fighters, become MORE motivated with a new baby because they talk about putting food on the table for the growing family, worries and responsiblities, etc.

Donaire was talking about playing with the baby, laughing with the baby, enjoying the baby... etc. Sounds like he wants to stop fighting and just enjoy being a dad! He's just too happy right now to be prepared to sacrifice his health in the ring just to beat Rigo. He's got it all and just wants to enjoy it. Where's the hunger? Where's the desperation? Where's the craziness? Where's the edge? :think

At these odds, if you're a betting man, surely it's not that crazy to bet a bit on Rigo and hedge it somewhat with Donaire by stoppage, right?

Exactly , he's already rich and to be honest a loss against Rigondeaux , or anyone for that matter , at this point on Nonito's career , wouldn't be a problem for Nonito , he'll just move up to 126 and will take it from there . Rigondeaux has more to lose than Donaire , Rigo is 32 years old and he can't afford to pick up the pieces and start again , unless of course he puts on a clinic and gets robbed or loses a very close fight . Peace .

Yeah, I mean, there's no doubt in my mind Rigo is a lot hungrier than Nonito for this. Question is, is Nonito less hungry than he usually is, because of the baby? I sure think so... :conf

Donaire's got all the excuses to lose, the adrenaline might get too him baby on the way so much hype on this fight, he might be aggressive and get caught

Yap. Heard that. Crazy! :-( The guy is much too well-adjusted and centered right now to be a professional fighter.

Hell yes. Getting married, buying a house, having a baby....those things motivate the hell out of you to take control of your life and provide for your family. I'll fight pretty hard for myself, I'll fight a lot harder for those I love.

Donaire will come in the best shape and mentally prepared. when the fight starts its the demons that will come into his head when he realises not after round 2,3 etc the first round he be shocked of the precision of Rigo.. then he will start swinging going for the knockout to try and stop the embarressment.
my personal opinion is for donaire is to back pedal and stink the joint out period! do something that rigo doesn't expect him to do....do not at any occasion let rigo get close to you keep pawing the jab out and ignore the booing of the crowd he has a longer reach than rigo... keep him on the end of the jab and get the **** away from him period the moment you start opening up and trying to fight rigo game over:hi:
