Donaire's left hand just might be the best in the sport. That left hook is short, fast and brutal when it lands. He counters so well with it too. Very impressive stuff from Nonito.

I've watched the Darchinyan KO like a million times. It's definitely a ATG knock out. My question is... How the **** does he generate so much brute force without throwing it wide and long? :think
Darchinyan has a habit of moving forward with his hands down when throwing his big left so that does magnify the punch on the chin. You don't want a a wide looping left hook, it has to be short and in a tight half-circular motion with your body's weight flowing with the punch that generates so much power in such a short distance. Joe Louis, great example of somebody who can generate immense power over short distances
