Donaire-Montiel KO GIF

Forget about Barrera's loss to Manny. Barrera got KO'd by Junior Jones, and went on to have a career that far exceeds Junior Jones. So Montiel can definitely keep going.

But here is the only caveat, Montiel is older than Barrera when he lost to Jones, and Montiel has looked is age a little in his last few fights before this loss.

 

I thought he went nutts after the punch looking at the reaction, then I thought he suffered from a brain damage, hell of a ****ing KO. Probably best KO of this year.

This is exactly what I saw too man.. the guy was completely out of it entirely.

 

i reviewed the fight and saw that when montiel did his involuntary shaking movement, the referee had his back to him and was pointing nonito to the neutral corner.

me thinks that if the referee had seen montiel shaking, he should have waved the fight off as a straight KO.

a couple of seconds gave montiel the urge to stand up and eventual TKO.

but I know he was out the first time and he should have been counted out already or waved.
