He only fought twice last year, in my opinion he needs 4 fights this year in order to keep himself relevent. Quite frankly in his last two fights, while he clearly won both, he did not look up to the level he was when he knocked montiel the **** out. Nonito needs to fight 3 more times, and I say just one more at Super Bantam, and then move up to featherweight. I think their is only one more move up in weight class left for him, and after that the guys will be too big for him.

his power doesn't seem to have carried as well and he just didn't seem..focused. I have a feeling Top Rank will give him Arce.

He could but I don't think it's necessary, he's had nearly 30 fights and he's top 5 p4p, it's pretty usual to have 2 fights a year at that level.

but has fought at weight classes which get no love. He fought on the undercard of a 2 fighters who aren't even considered top 20 P4P.

I wouldn't be opposed to seeing Donaire-Arce. Did you notice Arce dropped down to Bantamweight to claim Nonito's vacant title, and Donaire claimed Arce's vacant title? Do you think Arce did it just so he can say he is a 5 weight class champ?

He can say that but he wasn't the first 4 weight. He had an interim belt for one of his weight classes and even as far as paper belts go, that one doesn't count.

Yea I think his interim belt was at flyweight. I don't pay attention to belts for the most part, because they are really meaningless. All the sanctioning bodies really took the luster out of being a multiple weight class champion.

Well this is what happens when a fighter KTFO another elite fighter. You get the next few fights with opponents running scared

    I want Nishioka and Rigondeaux

Vazquez didn't run, he boxed with him. Donaire looked like a red raccoon but he did pretty good for breaking his left hand.

Rigo would put people to sleep. He's all about sticking and moving and frustrating the **** out of his opponent but I'd be down for a Donaire-Nishioka fight.

He didn't "run" per se but he sure had a whole lot of respect for Donaire's power

I can't blame him. He thought he was going to run through Arce and wound up TKO'd. After Donaire put Montiel to sleep, WV2 would be stupid to fight without respecting him.

He might not of ran, but he fought very with extreme caution, and took barely any chances. When he did take chances he almost got his ass KO'd in the third, and got dropped.

The "SD" leaves a sour taste, indeed.

Narvaez and Vazquez Jr are not guys you automatically should be expected to stop. When somebody shows up willing to exchange or expecting to win, ala Montiel, Sid, Martinez, Marquez, Darch, he stops them.

I too, like everyone else, want Nishioka and Rigondeaux. I will settle for Arce if it happens before mid-July.

Why the **** doesn't Arum do a PPV in June with Donaire vs. Nishioka - Arce vs. Rigondeaux - Mike Alvarado vs. somebody decent - Kelly Pavlik vs. decent comeback opponent with the winner of the co-main events to face off.
