I believe against Vasquez he was showboating because didn't feel threatened by his power. I doubt he'll try clowning that way against nishioka or rigondeaux, if he does the fight would not last long.
I agree. The most notable thing for me was seeing him taking big windups when he had Vasquez hurt in the corner. I bit of setup could have ended the fight there.

I think fighters with big reputations like Donaire will always be prone to trying showy stuff when they get frustrated.I think he knows his chances of crossover appeal are dwindling.I just think he's an excellent fighter who some people have got a bit too carried away about. I'm even more convinced now that if Rigo's head is right and he gets his training camp right,he can beat Donaire.
Ali showboated to good effect. Mayweather holds both arms low, and seems to do alright. - And all fighters get hit, even the ATG's. I'm tempted to say Donair should up his punch rate, but who am I to say that when he keeps winning? He seems to know what he's doing.
