I'd happily pay to watch Darchinyan or Arce vs good exciting oppoments because I love watching both men fight.

When I think of Donaire I don't get excited at all. He could blast opponents out quickly but instead waits and waits, is very frustrating. Reminds me of a miniature Wlad Klitschko :patsch

The Alvarado-Rios scrap might of had something to do with it! ;)

If you would of asked the fans at the fights which bout are you most excited for.. About 80% of them would of said Rios-Alvarado!

Donaire is in the Roy Jones position...except he's nowhere near the gate draw. Very very talented, but he doesn't take enough risks to excite TV viewers. If he wants big paydays, he's going to have to start blasting people out. He's head and shoulders above anyone at 122..Just show it!

i hope some of you guys are sarcastic, cause this are terrible numbers... Donaire did more than a million against Montiel...1.9 million saw his fight against WV2 ( thanks to Chavez jr) And Donaire is supposed to become a star and is closing in on P4P nr 1 status ( according to max kellerman at least)... + it had an undercard that had the boxingworld buzzing... From the HBO numbers i've seen so far this year, this is by far the worst....
( i suppose the Del valle/ rodrigues card did a lot worse, but that was a shobox type of card)

People were just tuned in from the hype of the Rios fight, viewers were probably asleep by the 3rd round of the Donaire fight

All this delusion. Discredit all the other HBO numbers in order to praise NoRigo Ducknaire's mediocre numbers....:patsch

Anything to glorify the fighter who is the same skin color eh?

I was at the fight and the majority of the crowd was there for the Rios/Alvarado fight. In fact, the four guys sitting behind me left after the Rios fight.

I really like Donaire and hadn't been to a fight in a while, but the general feeling in the venue was that we paid for the Rios/Alvarado fight and the Donaire fight was a bonus.

Really the main event should have been the Rios vs Alvarado and TOP rank made a mistake making the Donaire vs Nish the Main. Didn't make sense lol.Donaire would be a good semi main event? Real talk, the kid is just not exciting enough to be a main event PPV.

The kid has to be more aggressive but at the same time be smart about it.It's a balancing act he becomes too aggressive he might pay the price.Just box and then brawl to put that extra sauce on it.

That number is quite shitty considering the big undercard.

With all the "names" on the card, I'm shocked at how low the audience was.

Conversely, with Broner being the only name on his card, the number he did was quite amazing.
