I wouldn't say he was gun-shy. He was just a counterpuncher fighting a guy who didn't come to fight. If Nishi aims to outwork Donaire, then expect Donaire to look a lot better.

My picks and why:
Rios; he's fighting the kind of fighter that makes him look good.A better version of Antillon.Mike is tough but has poor defense and it's set for war.Rios will be better hydrated at 140. It's gonna be bloody and entertaining for as long as its last.Rios late KO or maybe UD depending of mikes chin.
Donaire: I don't expect he's gonna be as careless as he's been the last 2 fights.Hes gonna go back to box and counterpunch,he's younger and has probably the best left hook of the game right now.Nishioka was losing the fight before tagging Gonzalez , he's older and been inactive for too long.Still his experience can make it interesting.
