I know Donaire just Knocked out the best of the Division, but some people are getting over board about his win. He is still young lets let him move up a weight class and prove him self again and then he'll probebly be #1 in my point of view...right now he's a strong #4 P4P #1 Manny Pacquiao #2 Floyd Mayweather #3 Sergio Martinez(depending on his upcoming fight) #4 Nonito Donaire P.S. Not hating on Donaire just think some of ya'll are ridding his D**k to hard
I don't see anyone apart from ******s putting him at 1. Heck, you'll even be called a nonito d**k rider for putting him at #4 over Marquez.
Marquez is my favorite fighter out there but this year he hasn't fought any good fighters i mean he had the remath with Juan Diaz who was coming of three loses (im from houston but even i'll say Malignaggi beat him twice) and Katsidis which he's only two loses came from people the Marquez already Knocked Out. Its kinda hard to put him above Donaier
I haven't seen anyone even suggest he should be at #1. The highest you can possibly have him is #3 and I currently have him at #5.
Agree with 1st post, he's maybe 3/4 big fights away from being number 1. Or maybe if pac and mayweather retire... But personally I have Bradley and Martinez above him.
The Ring has Donaire at #3 P4P. And before anyone says The Ring's rankings are personally done by Oscar, it is not. They have a voting panel that consists of 45+ boxing journalists (big name writers like Iole, Raphael)from around the world in which only 3 are employed by The Ring magazine.
I can't put him above Martinez. Martinez is coming of big KO win against Paul Williams a top Light Middleweight and a Win over Kelly Pavlik it probably wasn't the best Pavlik but he still got the win. Donaire only has that Montiel Ko and the Darchinyan back in 2007
It should be 1. pac 2. may 3. martinez 4. jmm 5. donaire There's no way donaire move ahead of jmm and martinez.
