And his versatility and overall athleticism.

For the first time, you and I agree.

I have seen both but not that much of each but, I feel Donaire has the more exciting style. He has the better offense, while Mijares is more of a defensive fighter. He lays back and counters, I feel Donaire is more of a force than Mijares who is calculating but effective. I want to see this one I will go with Nonito he is that good.

    let's get it on!!!

it's a tough fight for donaire but its better than having no fights at all. i hope for either a donaire-montiel or a mijares-montiel fight before this happens.

In Mijares-Donaire you will see the definition of a fighter breaking down. Donaire will not only be broken down physically, he will be broken down mentally in an extreme, almost Cintron type of way. I can't wait to see what PacDBest says when he sees Nonito, confused as hell, falling apart by the mid rounds and losing all of his composure, which will lead to him panicking and getting sloppier than ever before. When he panics, he will be losing even more stamina than usual at a very fast rate and he'll be getting hit all over the place. Mijares TKO 9.

Mijares does pretty much everything better than Donaire, a lot of things much, much better. The only thing Donaire has the edge in is power, which is meaningless because Munoz and Arce couldn't even stun Mijares. Mijares is getting so comfortable in the ring that his stamina is just getting better and better while he's becoming sharper with both his offense and defense. During his last fight, I was getting Pernell Whitaker type of "holy ****, how did he just do that?" feelings when he pulled off some of his defensive moves, counters, and combinations off the jab. Also, after the fight, Mijares wasn't the least bit tired, he could have easily gone 15+ rounds. People that think a basic fighter like Donaire with very good natural talent (but nothing sensational) and limited skill could even be competitive with what Mijares has become now are either Donaire nuthuggers or have only looked at Mijares on boxrec.

To actually answer your question, Brooklyn decided that he was spending far too much time on this website and felt it was best to leave.

I ope this fight happens at some point. I think it would be a great fight and I'm not certain who would come out victorious in this fight.

I was thinking the same thing, I spend too much just discusing the same thing against the same people. That's why I'm betting lifetime bets so I can get out of it. The problem, I think I'm still going to win my bet and still has to stay.
