Donaire has a case to be #2 or 3 vis-a-vis Maravilla because he hasn't lost in 25 fights.
Maravilla lost to Williams in their 1st fight. Not to mention the manner in which he knocked the reigning bantamweight champ Montiel.

Pretty sure Mayweather beat the Rings P4P#3 Mosley, not the Rings welterweights #5 version.

Now this is where you all say that the Rings rankings don't matter, despite posting in a thread about where they rate Donaire.

    Utter BULL.

Martinez should be at least three places above Donaire in the rankings.

One fight and people think he's the king of the world :patsch

Previous to that, Donaire had great wins: 3 KOs including his sensational KO win against Sidirenko. Sergio lost to Williams in the first fight. He won against Pavlik via UD. What's great about that?

Nope mosley beat margarito and was the man of the division.

Manny is fighting a guy who got spanked by mayweather and got a gift draw against mora. No longer pound 4 pound material.

You can say the same thing to Martinez. Aside from Williams and Pavlik, who are the elite fighters that he beat?

It doesn't matter much, anyways. If Sergio beats Dzinziruk, he'll probably leapfrog right back over Donaire.
