    nonito donaire once again expressed in desire to vacate the 112 belt and move up to the 115 division.

    moments after his last fight, manager Cameron Dunkin told ESPN.com that there is a strong possibility that Donaire will move up to junior bantamweight and target titleholder Jose "Carita" Lopez of Puerto Rico.

    there is a slim chance of seeing donaire-montiel in next months as montiel as an upcoming fight for the wbo interim bantamweight title against former champion eric morel. the winner of which is the mandatory challenger of gerry penalosa..

    Good choice, it would be foolish to take on Montiel 2 divisions up without an interim fight. Such a shame the Montiel-Donaire fight didn't happen last year, Mobby Bobby Arum failed to deliver that superb match-up last year (Montiel didn't want to return to SFW... for the ridiculous offer Arum made).

    Darchinyan was right - Donaire is a fraud. He padding his record better than a push up bra. Fight someone real to earn respect. HBO and Showtime execs are no fools he has fought no one since his great win. He will never get a TV date other than Bob Arums Top Rank PPV. Thats the reason why old Bob is trying to suck Darchinyan in ! Chase the money maker Donaire , you won a battle but not the war. Darchinyan will own you next time round just remember Rahman V Lewis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    donaire has always target the wbo belt...remember when montiel was injured. there are already talks on lopez-donaire fight for the interim belt.

    i also thought of that before donaire's last fight..but now im convinced that donaire is untouchable...only mares would give him trouble

    I'd go so far as to say that Vic is my favourite fighter.

    Anyway, enough of taking this thread off topic with talk about Darchinyan. People always pollute Vic threads with talk about Donaire, and it sucks when they do.

    For a while I was like " :huh...wtf is Nonito doing, comitting suicide?" Nonito being trained by the Penalosa bros, and seeing how his old sensei got beat up by a young thug like that, i thought the Flash was so hurt and angered he just wanna be in a ring with [JuanMa] Lopez just to get whatever revenge he can extract even if it meant "sayonara, world..." :lol:
