    Donaire: "I also want to thank my wife Rachel, who gets the brunt of all blame when things get tough, but she was actually the one who personally met with Top Rank to find resolution and mediate things for me, when both parties were looking the other way," Donaire said and added, "she looks out for my best interest, and it's unfortunate that she takes the blame for things I ask her to do for me."


    Rachel (Donaire's wife) joked that the manner she dresses was not part of discussions for the new agreement.

    I met him at the Ward/Abraham fight and he is incredibly polite and appreciative of the fans. Good to know a fighter whose style I enjoy is also a decent human being. I am an even bigger fan now.
