Donaire-Rigondeaux is going to be boring

    Rigondeaux has one of the poorest punch outputs at top level, he isn't active enough, donnair will rock him and have him out on his feet, but he'll manage to hold on and grab for 12 rounds. theres nothing interesting about this fight. people won't give donnair his props they'll continue to slander him.

    I think it will be good, even if most people end up finding it boring but I think it will be a classic.

    Speak for yourself...IMO, its gonna be a chess match between 2 top guys...IF you cant apprecitate then I think you're not a true boxing fan...Rigo and Nonito are on top of there game and this is gonna be a good one.

    HBO have had a couple of barnburners in Bradley-Prov and Rios-Alvarado 2 but this fight is going to be a whole different ball game and definately one for the purists and a pleasure to watch two of the most skilled pure guys in all of boxing try to out-think, out-punch, out-move and out-speed each other. Expecting it to be a technical classic.

    'Boring' may sound a bit harsh (seeing as though both guys will be displaying tremendous amounts of skill), but I understand where you're coming from. Rigo is too calculated and reserved to give Donaire the kind of opportunities he likes to look good. As a result we'll see, for the majority of the fight, Rigo giving up rounds whilst on the retreat and Donaire looking a bit sloppy and desperate. So a wide, disappointing UD for Donaire is the most likely result.

    (But a Donaire knockout/stoppage is also a strong possibility should Donaire catch him with a beauty).

    Tentatively paced but not necessarily boring. The tension will be high and you won't want to take your eyes off the screen lest you miss a bomb ending the fight.

    there both counterpunchers its going to be an unplesant watch as neither will fully commit. donnair stalks him all night, rocks him a couple of times and has him out on his feet, Rigondeaux is pretty overrated by his fans.

    How can be it boring when the lead up to this fight has been spectacular and both fighters have vowed to KO each other? This fight will end with a KO/TKO.

    Honestly the lead up to this fight has been pretty quiet aside from you making threads about every little thing that is said or done in each man's camp.

    Fights like these for me can never be boring, just pure intensity leading to the fight and everything i guess i just pump up my self so its always very good watch for me, something like Ward vs Froch many hated that fight but it was pretty good for me.
