    Esteves has already officiated a Donaire fight (vs. Narvaez); and no one complained about his assignment as an official back then. Just throwing that out there.

    If Donaire is american then that means cuban pride Jose Napoles is actually mexican, since he's a mexican citizen and fought his whole life in Mexico and lives there :rasta

    Benji was actually born in Milwaulkee, Wisconsin later moved to midtown Manhattan. Both his parents were from Isabela, Puerto Rico.

    The guy has spent more of his life in America that Phillipines. Hes married to an American and lives in America NOW.

    He competed for America as an amateur...

    Im not exactly sure how American you want him to be!

    Micky Ward used to wear the shamrock on his shorts, apparently he was issuing a big "**** you" to America as well.
