This would only be a fair fight when pac was at donaire's current age (28 ), the 28 year old pac annihilates donaire the same way he destroyed Morales at the age of 28

this debate has cannibalism written all over it lol. let me join the fray.

Donaire has better skills and already pound for pound ranked while pac was merely starting to polish his skills at this point.

That said, Pac had faster hands and i think possessed the stronger hand. he was also quick to the trigger and very aggressive. this pac was also no longer the weight drained Pac who had been hurt to the body twice. this pac more or less possessed the chin that withstood barrera, Morales and Marquez.

Donaire had an advantage over boxers who were shorter than him, that wouldn't be the case here. He is also hittable and when he couldn't hurt his opponent he resorts to his bike (see the concepcion fight), that could be a problem for Pac should he be unable to cut the ring off against Donaire. But in any case, i think that Pac's speed and power will get to Donaire at one point and hurt him

This isn't Donaire-Mijares lol. Pac is the real deal

Donaire is good but being a lil over rated. PAC will shut his big mouth up in any weight. Maybe, they can do a catchweight.

They used to spar when Manny's still at 122. I'll ask somebody from the wild card gym about it!

I think that version of Manny is still raw and today's Donaire would win. But Prime for Prime (assuming Donaire's prime is now), Pac owns him.

Donaire today is a world-class polished fighter, whereas the pac that beat ledwaba is a raw physical specimen. with this, it's reasonable to say donaire wins

however, the 122 pound pac as raw as he was back then, still would overwhelm donaire. i don't think donaire can throw that left hook without being hit by the ever-powerful left straight first. he did it with darchinyan yes, but darchinyan's left can be easily seen and predicted.

pac by early KO. If it goes late, close fight.

You don't toy with Pacman's straight left at lower weight.

    Pacman by KO.

Pac at 122 looked like he had bricks in his gloves.

as much as i rate nonito higher than pac skill wise, specially on 122....i would still pick pac over nonito, due to power....at 122, pac's power is a level above over montiel/donaire...when nonito feels the power of pac, he will doubt himself like everyone pac came across at 122 and below...forget technique...pac's power coupled with speed,...youre gonna get mowed down.....

I got to pick Donaire by decision or TKO.

my thoughts too. that left hand in the lower weights literally means one-punch knockout waiting to happen

Unlike Donaire's previous opponents, Pac wouldn't be inferior in size and power!

And to those who say Donaire would be too world-class for him, shouldn't a Marco Antonio Barrera have been too world-class also?

Pac was a monster back then, and Donaire would be up against something he'd never have faced before.

Is this a joke?? Pac would murder Donaire. So he beats Montiel who is tailor made for him and he now beat Pac who is bigger than Donaire at 122 and was a KO machine.
