Already been done to death over the past day. I say Vic by K.O this time but one thing this Mijares-Darchinyan fight has shown me this weekend....nothing is set in boxing.

I'm no longer assuming that Calzaghe is gonna' win easy on Saturday now. Nor am I assuming that DLH is going to spark Pacman out within four rounds (though in my heart I've always though Pac could pull it off)

ANYTHING can happen. I don't even think Mijares was overrated.....Vic just fought a perfect fight, and has clearly made adjustements since his move up to Super-Fly.

Donaire can punch and has the style to beat and Vic has not improved that much in my opinion.

To make it really interesting let's put him in with Montiel first then Donaire.

Darchinyan would win by ko this time. The winner would no doubt be in the p4p top ten if not top five.

Donaire will win handily against Vic again. What is this BS that Vic is a different fighter?? He had a tough time against Gorres just a while ago (although he won that one)

Donaire is faster and just as powerful as Vic. And he controls the distance well. Unlike Mijares who had lousy footwork, who looks great when he can jab, take that away his game is exposed. He stiffens up.

I see Vic eating alot of left hooks again while Donaire keeps the distance. Donaire has a great very wide left foot lead stance. His stance is a nightmare for southpaws and Vic will have problems reaching him with his patented left. I see Vic lunging in again with the left and countered all night.

Hell yeah he should be top 10.

    Donaire KO8 Darchinyan

I would say maybe top 15 P4P, but a win over Montiel as well could very well place them in the top 10 P4P.. Depending on how they win and against who.. I think Donaire will find his way to the top 10 soon..

Top Rank is talking to Montiel now about a fight with Donaire.. If they could get this fight made, this could ruin Darchinyan's plans.. A Donaire win over Montiel would have to mean a rematch if Darch ever wants to unify..

If Vic wins it would do more for his ranking because it would show improvement. I would probably put Vic close to the top ten if he got this win. If he beats Montiel I would as well. Both and he's a surfire top ten'er.
