Donaire, the slick American, veteran knockout artist vs the young brash crap talking casimero. Donaire has the right to brag about his lifestyle but not the audicity to overrule a fight because of his wife/ managers feelings. Lemme explain...you can't play both sides Rachel, the damsel in distress or the young independent woman. One day talking smack about casimero and blood doping, the next day complaining about his verbal comebacks! Donaire may be quite the ambassador for boxing so he can pick and choose. So basically he's the conservative law abiding gentleman who won't stand for any type of abuse, neglecting to give casimero a fight because with Donaire, you have to EARN it with respect! Because we're all adults here! Then casimero, he be the true Fiighter in touch with his roots from the islands who came up poor and hungry trying to make a name and payday for himself. He may say or do whatever he wants, but who is Donaire to deter him a payday? This is the best fight that can be made action wise, and also one of the most compelling matchups at their weight division!!!

Hopefully next time everyone agrees to get a long, learns their lesson(s) yes even Donaire the turtling and ducking and johnnriel the cocky braggadocious youngster who needs to watch his mouth, need to make this fight happen in the future. For us fans!!

For who wins this fight? Already said in the first post, I don't know who to pick. May the best man win.

 

Based on recent form I say Donaire wins, probably smokes him.

I didn't like how he handled the situation leading up to the aborted fight at all though.

Obviously Casimero was rude to his wife but she had brought herself into the conversation. Also someone's wife is very different than their mother or daughter, it's not as out of bounds. Hearing Rachel Donaire say "snack on my dick" was a highlight of my year.

I also don't care for his whole holier-than-thou attitude on the doping issue. In a world where you can't throw a rock without hitting a supplements guru you picked the one that's infamous for beating anti-doping tests? He's done a lot of good stuff after that mistake but I'd prefer to see humility.

I'm a fan of both guys and still want the fight badly though.

 

I think people are remembering the Donaire of the Montiel KO, not the current slow but still powerful Donaire.

Donaire's reflexes has diminished significantly. He doesn't have head movement and his hands are not really that great at parrying shots. He took some shots from Nordine that the younger Donaire wouldn't have gotten hit with.

Casimero is more powerful than Nordine and faster. Donaire would have problems with his style and Casimero is too slick to get hit with that hook.

 

Casimero is a dangerous fighter. What you didn't know.Casimero put a bet on himself to KO that boy inside 4 rounds.In which he did. He got reckless. But mark my words the slickness will come against Donaire.

 

I feel like Casimero is too slippery for Donaire to catch.

 

I just told you that you picked a fight where Casimero looked wild because I just told you he put a bet for a KO in 3 or 4 rounds. QUICK WORK. I can't remember which but that's why he was going all out and not even baxxing showing his skills. Name me a fight where he has ever had his face mushed, cuts and or been dropped. Donaire has had his face mushed now you telling me he is slick and hard to hit. Come on Nonaire is old and hittable AF. Although he looks like he is trying to be slick but once Casimero lands at will on him. LOL Goodness meh!!

I've never seen the big deal with Casimero. He talks a lot but he really doesn't back it up. His fight with a 40 year old Rigo was awful. You expect Rigo to stink a place out but Casimero too did almost nothing.

Donaire even this faded but resurgent one knocks him out or beats him up for the majority of the 12 rounds. The way Casimero leans back and to his right to avoid right hands won't help vs Donaire's left hook, especially if he jumps in like he's want to do. I can see a similar situation to Donaire/Darchinyan 2, Casimero jumps in and gets chin checked with a counter left hook.

 

Casimero is too wild. I think he woulda got caught coming in and Nonito smacks him clean with a one punch ko via the counter left.

It would have been a good fight and it's too bad it didn't come off. I blame Donaires wife.

 

Rigo was practicing social distancing. I have never seen someone run that cowardly in all the years watching baxxing. That was ridiculous. This is a fight not a bloody track meet. Listen and it wasn't the RONA he was keeping away from it was that POWAR. He felt it and was like. Ah, hell naw!!

Donaire saying that they gave a contract to fight Casimero twice. The second time was after the Rigo fight. Apparently Casimero didn't receive any paper or contract because of MP promotion is run by Sean Gibbons.

Sean Gibbons handles all the business transaction but doesn't have a license. Might as well call this promotion the Sean Gibbons promotion cause dumbquiao has nothing to do with it. ...So in other words his brand name is being used by a foreigner.
