If true, I'll be major pissed at Donaire, with guys like Rigondeaux BEGGING him for fights.

It doesn't have to be the fight you want to be a fine fight. :conf

 

I can't think of any justification for facing Mijares over Rigo or Nishioka. It's not even like he's a blood-and-guts fighter like Arcé who, while being over-matched, could be sold as a guy who guarantees a good fight.

If Donaire takes this fight, fighting Vic's leftovers, he is a ****ing disgrace. No reason no to face Rigo.

True, but I'm not as confident in the current Mijares avoiding an embarrassing beating as I was in Narvaez avoiding one. Hell, even prime Cristian would have just been too damn small and too inclined to show off his cojones and slug rather than stick to the slick daredevil defense both are capable of.
