I doubt that it will be made, I think he has 3 more fights at this level before clearing out the Bantams
    1) Nashiro
    2) winner of Posuwan vs. Lopez
    3) Munoz (likely to change in time to some other)

Exactly!! Shaw is nothing more than a fat ****ing piece of horse ****.

He is putting his personal issues above his fighters desire for a rematch.

**** your hurt feelings fat ass Shaw.

Your fighter wants Donaire, Showtime would do it, and the fans want it.

Shaw is pathetic and needs to grow the **** up about having his feelings hurt-make the fight your fighter wants.

Because Shaw is an *******. He kept crying Donaire won't get a rematch to Vic and has to beg like a dog.
Wasn't it your pet who did the chicken dance? Ended up the Upset of the Year and KO of the Year 07?

I pity Donaire, Shaw f*cked up his career by not giving him a fight for a year. And now Donaire left for Top Rank, He is telling that he(donaire) is a disloyal fighter. And also he Donaire has to fought not well known fighters and some of his big fights was cancelled due to his opponents backing out because of weight issues and injuries.

Shaw doesn't want it for Darchinyan.

And anyways, Donaire doesn't need to fight Darchinyan. He just needs to fight.

The Arce fight showed that Darchinyan will still lose to Nonito so Gary Shaw will never allow the rematch to happen.

It would be a great match-up, but ****, even if I don't like people jumping up and down in weight, Vazquez-Darchinyan sounds excellent... Bring that one on!!! Why not?

Vic-Montiel also promises a lot of action and more money than Donaire. And as good the revenge would look on Vic's record (if he can beat Nonito at all), Darchinyan has better options and it's Donaire who needs the rematch more as still Vic is the only solid name on his resume, while Vic beat a better fighter for better recognition in Mijares. Donaire is inactive, brings little money, and with Monitel moving up and Nonito staying down, there's no big fight on the horizon to earn a shot at undisputed champ Darchinyan.

He might have Darchinyan's number, but there's no money on his phone to call him. Lol.

Gary Shaw is not going to throw his cash cow under a bus since his fighter Vic is on a win streak over 2 good fighters. Gary Shaw Knows Donaire will present a big problem for Vic and will avoid a rematch since there's bigger names for Vic to fight at this point in his career instead taking on a opponent that KO him. You will see a rematch down the road but for right now Gary Shaw will try to get Vic in with Vasquez or Marquez.

I don't believe in these stories, where fighters can't achieve fights they want because of their promoters. So I think Darchinynan doesn't want the rematch himself. Fans can forget that rematch now.

"Who Next For Vic Darchinynan - Montiel? Vazquez? Marquez? Gary Shaw Says It Won't Be Donaire"
    http://www.eastsideboxing.com/news.php?p=18721&more=1

Most fans would like to see Darchinyan take a rematch with the only man to have ever beaten him. Filipino Nonito Donaire is the only man to have beaten the Armenian who lives in Australia, and he did it via sensational 5th round stoppage in July of 2007. Set to make a defence of his IBF flyweight title against the unbeaten Raul Martinez in March, fans would love to see Donaire move up to super-fly and meet Darchinyan again if he's victorious. This, however, will not be happening - at least not according to Shaw..

"We're not fighting Donaire," Shaw said flatly. "Darchinyan wants to fight Donaire, but as long as I have promotional rights, he's not fighting Donaire. I don't believe in rewarding disloyal fighters with opportunities to make money and win world titles."

I disagree with most of you who think Donaire will beat Vic again.... I just saw the repeat fight a couple of days prior to Vic-Arce, and the Vic of that fought Nonito is NOTHING like the Vic of today.

The fight with Mijares, with Arce, etc, Vic has shown a lot more movement, much better and pragmatic defense, stays on his toes and gives good angles.....not to mention he is actually using his jab and right hook to setup his left. The best thing to happen to Vic was to lose to Nonito like that.

If they fight again, Nonito very well could win, but if Vic fights anything like he's fought in his past 3 championship boughts, it will be a much different story.

So, why does he not overrule Shaw and avenge his lone defeat if Vic is confident of beating Nonito?

I think he does want to fight him....but I think he is not stupid either, and there are a lot of fights out there for him, Vasquez, Marquez, Montiel, etc, which are a LOT more money. I'm sure once he fights a couple of these fighters, he will put more pressure on Shaw to let him fight him.
