Shaw survived prostate cancer and talks about how important life is and you're love ones..for a minute, I thought this guy has heart.....But when asked about Donaire, "F**k Donaire, he's a disloyal **** " WTF!!!

That cancer should have taken him out!!!

This comment is totally insensitive. I know this is a boxing forum but comments like these have no place anywhere.

Anyhow, my take is that Nonito needs to fight Vic to 'break out' as much as Vic needs to fight Nonito to avenge his loss and give more credence to his bravado speeches. This is more of a 50-50 fight me thinks.

I'd love to see this but Shaw's greed won't allow this fight to take place. Plus he has beef with Nonito so its more than likely NOT gonna happen. Vic would probably get beat by Nonito again and right now Vic is the MAN! Shaw has the guy EVERYONE wants to fight at 115 who holds all the cards. he's not putting him in there with a risky guy like nonito. Vic is a very good fighter and can beat most of the people in or around his weight class but Nonito has the style to beat Vic 9 times out of 10.

NO! That is one thing Vic isn't. He fears no one which can be his own worse enemy....well, he respects no one nor does he fear. he should respect his oppoents to a degree and I think thats part of what makes him so interesting to watch. He's so full of himself and so cofindent people find him fun to watch....but he is very beatable....and extremely dangerous with that POWER he has.

:roflnah....Vic fears no one....his ego is sky high and he honestly believes he is better than anyone. Not that I believe him, but he has supreme confidence in his power and skills to beat anyone. He feels the loss to Nonito was a fluke and he'd love to rematch...unfortunately I feel he'd still end up KO'd if Nonito is healthy.

YOu're right about Vic being different...but the fighters VIC has faced before Nonitor and since his loss to Nonito all have a common thread....they all faught scared! That is true. You can see how the fighters were already shook before they faught...Nonito was the only fighter who never bought into Vics mental games...he wasn't a bit scared of Vic in the ring and it showed. But Mirjares and Arce...both of them faught scared.

Yeah, you're right but these are riskier fights. One loss from any of them which is not unlikely will take away his luster. This will even raise Nonito's stock as a fighter he ducked. He has an unfinished business to do. And if he thinks as you said he can beat Nonito, why duck him?

It's money that is destroying this sport. And you're of its disciples who are preaching this kind of ****. :fire We want a good fight. Let's bring on this fight.

Bring it on! But if they can bring on any of the bigger, more meaningful fights, bring them on. Maybe if Donaire would've spent the last 18 months facing elite competition it wouldn't even be a question who's next.
