I can't ****in' believe people are saying Donaire is going to go up to 126lbs and knockout Juan Manuel Lopez based on him blowing away Montiel, who has been down many times before, who has performed poorly many times before, and who has lost multiple times before. In other words, he was an inconsistent performer.

This hype is on a different level.

 I guess this is the only fight people have seen from Donaire. Again, people going off the deep end "this guy is the greatest thing since slicebread" "this guy is overrated, he was overhyped" etc. etc everybody needs to settle down a bit. Ok, he brutally KO'd Montiel, it was amazing great KO, but you are asking him to go up two weight classes, fight Lopez, and just knocking him out cold. Let's just see what he does in his next fight at 118 and see what happens when he goes up to 122, etc. Just wait and see....oh yea going back to my first sentence, Donaire couldn't hurt Concepcion who was the much bigger guy and landed very powerful clean shots, Donaire isn't walking up to 126 and just knocking elite fighters out with 1 punch. Calm down, and just have a wait and see approach.

if juanma was the one with that right cross that nonito ate after he unleashed the left hook...that left hook wont connect as nonito is down and twitching....

nd better avoid those punches going up north with the big boys or he is toast....

I said this weeks before Montiel Donaire , IMO if he got rid of Montiel decisively ............. which he did !!! , it would of been a big indication of where he is heading !!!

Question is , will Arum give him Vasquez Jr before Juanma ??!! , the boy is another huge talent and is still a baby , if Donaire doesnt have his sights set on Juanma / Gamboa @FW id be very very suprised ..

    Its gonna happen ...............................

The only really fight left for Donaire at 118 if he is going to stay there is Kameda ................

Mares is a mismatch , Perez and Agbeko is a war of attrition that could be useful for Donaire down the line when he eventually gets in a dog fight , has Moreno done enough or looked good enough to warrant a fight with Donaire ???

There is options at 118 for Donaire , but why postpone the inevitable when you have cleaned out 2 of the " elite " fighters in that division inside 7 rounds :deal , i dont see anybody beating him there , yes it could be a bumpy ride for Donaire but Montiel was his litmus test , and he passed with flying colours , imagine Vasquez Jr vs Doniare in the summer , its huge !!!!

Or how about when the WBC created a new weight class so Ray Leonard could win 2 different belts in 1 fight at a catchweight?:roll:

My point is it's ridiculous to be speculating how Donaire would be doing against a guy 2 weight classes above him when he's only fought at 118 twice. And if you think Pacquiao has nothing to do with people thinking this way, you're kidding yourself.

I dont think juanma is going down in weight he's going up. So i doubt this fight happens at 122 and it'll be a while until nonito fights at 126 by that time juanma might be at 130.

Put that aside i think it would be a great fight if it ever happens. People need to settle down though, fans tend to overreact after a big fight. Nonito looked great and he's good lets see how he looks in his next fight.
